Eight people, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W live on seven different floors of a building and are from eight different states, Goa, Mumbai, Bihar, U.P., Delhi, Assam, Gujarat and Punjab but not necessarily in the same order. Four of them speak Hindi and rest speak English.
The person from Delhi lives on the top floor and speak English. Q is from Bihar and lives two floor below a person from Assam who speaks Hindi. S lives a floor below U and speak English. T lives on either of the top two floors, with no one living above or below him. P lives on the fifth floor and from U.P. R and the person from Gujarat lives two floors above U, and four floors above Q. Two floors are empty. Only one person lives on the third floor. W lives on second floor and shares the floor with the person from Mumbai. Person from Goa shares floor with two others and speak Hindi. Person from Punjab speaks English.
